Come and join Pack 83 at our Blue and Gold celebration. It is a time to look back at this year’s Pack activities and the achievements of the Scouts. Blue and Gold is traditionally held in February which is the anniversary of the start of Cub Scouting. We will also be saying good by to Den 1. Many of the Scouts from Den 1 have been part of Pack 83 since kindergarten. For this year the theme the Scouts from Den 1 chose is Star Wars. Food and Dessert will be served. If you have any food allergies please let me know.

Pack 83 registration fees confirm your son's participation for the 2021-22 year.
Annual dues are $200 for Lion through Webelos programs. These dues have been increase due to BSA National Dues and the institution of a Suffolk County Council fee going up for insurance. The Pack 83 dues include BSA annual registration fees. Out of the $200 the Pack keeps $26. For any new Scout that has never registered there is a one time $25 registration fee That will be collected separately.
If your son is new to Pack 83 YOU MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION in additional to paying annual dues. IF YOUR SON IS A NEW SCOUT DO NOT PAY DUES ONLINE. Contact a Pack officer or your son's den leader for an application. Your son's registration is not active until we have the application.
Scouts who were registered with Pack 83 in the 2020-21 Scouting year do not need to complete another application.
If you have outstanding invoices from the 2020-21 year your scout's registration will be held until your account is reconciled. If this applies you will be contacted upon receipt of the 2021-22 dues.
All registration fees for returning scouts are due by September 30th. ***Current registration is a prerequisite for all Pack 83 scouting activities.***
Again, Scouts new to Pack 83 must submit dues alongside application. Applications cannot be processed without dues as BSA requires payment to process your son's registration.
Pack 83 is committed to providing a quality scouting program to all eligible boys and will work with parents to ensure every scout has the opportunity to participate. Please contact a Pack officer or your son's den leader if you have any questions or want to discuss any aspect of the program.
For scouts joining mid-year dues will be prorated accordingly to months of participation remaining. Please contact Treasurer John Zak for amount and payment instructions.
